Payment is required at the time of order confirmation unless otherwise stated.

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Any applicable sales tax and delivery fees will be disclosed prior to payment.

Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of order confirmation.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including but not limited to situations involving errors in pricing, availability, or concerns regarding the order.

Because all items are handmade, The Crochet Cookie reserves the right to decline custom requests at our discretion. This can include, but is not limited to, requests that we are unable to safely, ethically, or reasonably create.

We appreciate your understanding and will always strive to communicate clearly and respectfully.

By initiating any order (Crochet and/or Cookie) via email, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to all policies and disclosures listed on this website. Once an order is confirmed, it is considered accepted.

Items for Sale & Pricing

• Items with a listed price are in stock and available.
• Prices exclude shipping; shipping is calculated per order. Local pickup may be available. Shipping is calculated individually based on size, weight, and destination.
• If an item is marked Sold it has been sold, gifted, or kept. Custom remakes may be possible; please feel free to inquire.
• Some designs may not be available for sale or remake due to copyright or pattern restrictions. For items made using patterns not originally designed by me (Lori), I will verify any usage restrictions before confirming an order. Certain items resembling copyrighted or trademarked characters may be displayed for inspiration only and may be marked "Not able to be Sold".
• Crochet items are made as one-of-a-kind items or small quantities (no mass production).

Custom Orders

Personalized dolls, plushies, and other creative ideas are welcome. I'll let you know what I can do.

Safety Information

All Crochet Cookie crochet items are handmade with care. Due to the handmade nature of our products, slight variations in size, color, and stitching may occur.

Items are intended for gentle use and decorative purposes. Always supervise children during use.

None of our crochet items are specifically intended for babies or children, especially under 3 years of age. Items containing safety eyes or small parts may pose a choking hazard and are not intended for unsupervised play.

Please use all products only as intended.

Care Instructions

To keep your handmade item looking its best, gentle handling is recommended.

Unless otherwise noted:

• Spot clean when possible
• Hand wash gently in cold water
• Lay flat to dry
• Do not machine wash or tumble dry

Proper care helps preserve the shape, stitching, and details of your crochet item.

Processing & Shipping (Crochet Items)

Because all crochet items are handmade, processing times will vary based on item complexity and order volume and will be discussed during order confirmation.

Once an item has been shipped, The Crochet Cookie is not responsible for delays, lost packages, or damage caused by the shipping carrier. Any shipping issues must be addressed directly with the carrier.

Returns & Exchanges

Due to the handmade nature of our items, all crochet item sales are final.

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include photos of the issue. A replacement or refund will be offered in these cases.

We cannot accept returns or exchanges for:

• Normal wear
• Misuse or improper care
• Natural variations inherent in handmade products
• Custom or personalized items (non-refundable)

Cottage Food Disclosure (South Carolina)

The Crochet Cookie operates under the South Carolina Cottage Food Law. All cookies are processed and prepared by a home-based food production operation that is not subject to South Carolina's food safety regulations.

Our products are produced in limited quantities, sold directly to consumers, and properly labeled in accordance with South Carolina law.

Products Offered

The Crochet Cookie sells cookies only. We do not sell cakes, breads, or other baked goods.

Food Safety & Allergen Information

Our cookies may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including but not limited to:

• Wheat (gluten)
• Eggs
• Milk
• Butter
• Soy
• Peanuts
• Tree nuts (almonds, coconut, hazelnut, etc.)

Our kitchen is not allergen-free. Customers with food allergies or sensitivities should use discretion when ordering. We cannot guarantee that any product is free from allergens.

Freshness & Storage

Our cookies are baked fresh and intended for immediate enjoyment.

• Store in an airtight container
• Room temperature storage is recommended unless otherwise advised
• Refrigeration may extend freshness for certain varieties
• We do not offer shelf-stable or preservative-treated products

Ordering Policy

Orders are placed by emailing Jeannie Kwarsick or through other approved ordering methods listed on our website.

• Orders are subject to availability
• Advance notice is required for custom or bulk orders
• We reserve the right to limit quantities per order

Local Delivery & Pickup

The Crochet Cookie offers local delivery and/or pickup within approved areas of South Carolina.

• Delivery areas, dates, and times are arranged during order confirmation
• Delivery fees (if applicable) are disclosed before payment
• Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive the order
• We are not responsible for quality issues related to unattended deliveries

Cancellations, Returns & Refunds (Cookies)

Due to the perishable nature of baked goods, all sales are final once baking has begun.

• Cancellations may be accepted up to 72 hours before the scheduled baking date
• No refunds or returns once an order has been prepared or delivered
• If there is an issue, contact us within 24 hours of delivery

Intended Use

All food products sold by The Crochet Cookie are intended for personal consumption only. We are not responsible for improper storage, handling, resale, or consumption after delivery or pickup.
